Welcome to Resjin. We provide a comprehensive booking platform that connects clients looking for beauty and wellness services ("Clients") with salons, spas, and professionals ("Partners") who provide them.
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Resjin website, the Resjin for Business platform, and our mobile applications (collectively, the "Services"). It explains how we handle data differently depending on whether you are a Client booking an appointment or a Partner managing your business.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information from Clients
When you use Resjin to find and book services, we collect:
- Account Details: Name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
- Booking Data: Appointment history, service preferences, notes for the service provider, and reviews you leave.
- Location Data: Your approximate location (IP address) or precise location (with permission) to help you find venues "Near You".
- Payment Information: Credit card details, which are tokenized and securely stored by our payment processor (Stripe) to facilitate no-show protection and prepayments. Resjin does not store full card numbers.
B. Information from Partners (Businesses)
When you register your business on Resjin, we collect:
- Business Profile: Business name, address, service menu, pricing, staff roster, and photos.
- Staff Data: Names, schedules, and professional profiles of your team members.
- Client Database: Information you import about your existing clients to manage their appointments via our platform. In this capacity, Resjin acts as a "Data Processor" for your business.
- Financial Details: Bank account information for payouts and billing details for subscription fees.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to operate our marketplace and business tools:
- Facilitating Bookings: We share necessary Client details (Name, Phone number, Notes) with the Partner you book with so they can provide the service.
- Appointment Management: Sending confirmations, reminders (SMS/Email), and schedule updates to both Clients and Partners.
- Platform Optimization: Using search history and booking patterns to improve search ranking and recommend relevant venues.
- Business Analytics: Providing Partners with reports on their performance, retention rates, and revenue (aggregated and anonymized where appropriate).
4. Partner Marketing
Partners may use Resjin's marketing tools to send promotions to their own client list. If you receive marketing from a specific salon or spa via our system, you can opt-out directly through the link in their message. Resjin does not sell Client lists to third parties for advertising.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data:
- Access & Update: You can view and edit your profile and booking history through your account settings.
- Deactivation: You can deactivate your account at any time.
- Marketing Preferences: You can opt-out of Resjin platform newsletters via the link in our emails.
Note: Information held by a Partner (e.g., in their own local records outside of Resjin) must be managed by contacting the Partner directly.
